What a busy month!!!

Parent conferences went well.  It was great getting to meet and talk with everyone.
Don't forget to bring in the one inch binders (I mentioned this to all students who will be staying till the end of the year).


Halloween Party:
October 31:  We will spend the last 30 minutes of the day having a party.  It is okay to bring drinks, chip, fruit, treats, etc.

*Students may wear costumes at the end of the day on Friday.
Costumes should be:
~school friendly
~NO weapons, scary face painting or masks (anything with blood color)

Bring in your box tops!!!!  There is a school-wide competition--help class get ahead.

October 20:  Book Fair Begins

October 22-23:  Parent Teacher Conferences (Half Days for Students)

October 1st

Math:  We are learning addition and subtraction strategies.
Reading:  We just finished reading aloud My Father's Dragon
Science:  We are studying sound and what makes sound.
